Reports reaching our desks is that roads heading to the UN Human Rights Council offices where the National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Robert Kyagulanyi expected to deliver his petition have been blocked.
According to the Ugandan sources, all the roads heading to Kololo where the offices of the United Nations Human Rights Council are located have been blocked and nobody is allowed to enter. Earlier on, the Observer Uganda claimed that it was the NUP party leader Robert Kyagulanyi who was allowed to pass.
Some journalists from the Daily Monitor, NTV Uganda, and several others have been beaten by the police according to the sources.
Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine was expected to file the petition of human rights abuse by the Ugandan government where he accused the government of abducting, kidnapping, and killing innocent citizens.
Several family members of those people who are still missing were early today spotted in the NUP party headquarters before the party's boss moved to file the petition.
