Opinion:Why Raila may find it easy to gain more votes from mount Kenya than William Ruto expectation

Raila is steadily climbing the mountain than expected by his presidential counterpart William Ruto. This calls for wisdom from the Agwambo and his team of Azimio one Kenya alliance.

There are three reasons why he might win big in the Central Kenya;

1. Raila's camp is steadily increasing in popularity in the region while Ruto's side is suffering disagreements. Recently, the former governor of Kiambu seem to have parted ways with the UDA principals in the area. The long time die hard supporter of deputy president has many followers which he may subtract if he completely disagrees will Kenya Kwaza. If for instance he joins Azimio, that will be huge boost.

2. The effect of Martha Karua in the Kikuyu land. The Kenyan political Iron lady is selling manifesto of Azimio in more promising way. Through her and other top politicians in the Land, former prime minister has gained access to the area.

3. Political planning after voter record has come out. It's clear Central Kenya will be key determinant in August general elections. Die to that reason, ODM leader may increase visits to the place inorder to get as many followers as possible.

If by chance the Odinga's side put this into consideration, they will have huge boost on elections. What is your views on this on the comments session.
