Dramatic Scenes in Kakamega as 'Raila Diehards' Burn UDA T-Shirts After Ruto's Heroic Welcome(Video)

Dramatic scenes have been witnessed in Kakamega County after some goons claiming to Raila Odinga's staunch supporters burned UDA Party t-shirts and placards following Deputy President William Ruto's heroic entry into the county for a two day visit in the region.

The second in command made his first stop in the County at Khayega market, Sinyalu Constituency where he asked a huge crowd that had gathered to welcome him to the area to support his bottom-up economic development model and his UDA Party in the next generation election. The DP's address at the market was a success as it was marked with a show of colour as several residents dressed in Yellow coloured UDA t-shirts.

However, a video has emerged on social media showing a group of people burning the UDA Party t-shirts in public while shouting ODM slogans.

"Raila Tibim, Raila tialala" the group shouted as they set UDA t-shirts and placards ablaze.

They group also claimed that they don't recognise DP Ruto in the area. They also said that 'wheelbarrow' is an outdated tool that cannot be sold to them.

"Sisi hatutambui huyu mtu huku, wheelbarrow ilikuwa kitu ya kitambo bwana (We don't recognise that person here, wheelbarrow is an outdated thing)," they said before breaking into a dance.
