Adminstration Police Officers at DP Ruto's Sugoi Home Withdrawn, Replaced by Special GSU Squad

Ruto Declared Kenya's Next PresidentAfter being declared the Kenyan president elect, the security around Dr William Samoei Ruto has been beefed up.

The heightened security is not only around him but also on his private property and his residences.

In his Sugoi residence and local home, the premises that were being manned and guarded by the adminstration police officers dubbed Critical Installation Police Unit (CIPU), are now being given high security from a special GSU unit.

This is a protocol that is normally accorded to the president elect and subsequently the president.

This comes even as DP Ruto waits for the period of 14 days from the time of his declaration to elepse for him to be sworn in the second Tuesday as the new president of the Republic of Kenya.

Apart from his security being given highest priority, the president elect will also be briefed daily on intelligence from the National Intelligence Service.
