Deputy President William Ruto's campaign billboard was allegedly vandalized in Kisumu city hours after being erected.
In a photo shared online, the UDA billboard bearing Ruto's image could be seen in one of the streets allegedly in Kisumu city before it was brought down by goons later.
It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the heinous act even as Kenyans are urged to maintain political tolerance ahead of August 9, general elections.

It is an act that has attracted heated reactions online with a number of Kenyans calling for political tolerance among the public.
Kisumu is considered as ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga's stronghold ahead of August polls.
"This is Ruto's billboard being vandalised in Kisumu by some goons in the name of politics.Lets try to be politically tolerant. Tinga may also need to have his billboard erected somewhere ........I now understand why someone skipped the National prayer day last week.," posted one Facebook user.
This comes months after Ruto's campaign convoy was stoned and vandalized at Kondele in Kisumu.
