Photos: Leaders Finalise Preparations For Ruto's 2-Day Tour Of Kakamega County, Say All Is Set.

President William Ruto is expected to tour Kakamega County tommorow, Thursday, 8 December for a working tour that will take two days.

The president will be making his very first Tour of the region since he took over the government from former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Leaders from the county led by governor Fernandes Barasa, have already finalised the Preparations and are ready to host the head of state.

governor Barasa today toured Kakamega Teaching and Referral Hospital which is part of the projects the president will visit in his working tour.

The Orange Democratic Movement party governor confirmed that everything is ready at the facility for Ruto's visit.

"I was joined by Kakamega County Commissioner - John Ondego, Deputy Governor - Hon. Ayub Savula, and Likuyani MP - Hon. Innocent Mugabe at the Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital ahead of the President's visit to the facility tomorrow." He said.

"All is set for the President's two-day Kakamega County visit." He revealed.


On the other hand the county's senator Boni Khalwale visited Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology where Ruto will visit as well.

The president will preside over the 18th graduation ceremony of the institution. Khalwale confirmed that all is set for the visit as well.

The senator met with professor Solomon Shobairo, the vice chancellor of the institution together with other leaders of the institution.
