Provisional Presidential Results As At 23:10 pm Shows A Closing Gap Between Raila And Ruto

Two days have passed since the day of the Kenyan general election. Kenyans went to vote for leaders running for various elected positions in government, including the Chairman of the County Council of Members. After the IEBC finished counting the votes, several leaders received their results and were declared winners.  

Nation Media updates presidential election results based on IEBC results using social media. Deputy President William Samoei Ruto led with 49.94% of the vote, while Raila yOdinga was in second place with 49.38% of the vote, according to the most recent data. 

According to Nation Media, MP William Ruto has 6,683,447, Raila Odinga has 6,607,894, Professor George Wajackoyah of the Kenya Origin Party has 59,203 and Mwaure of the Agano Party has 31,168.
