(Photo: Courtesy)Rangwe constituency member of parliament honorable Lillian Gogo caught all Kenyans by surprise after being his deeds became popular.
On an image that is making rounds on social media, the leader was caught on camera preparing Omena. She used a spoon to stir a pan filled with the highly proteinous Omena to make them ready for consumption.
The incident caught the attention of many Kenyans; who could not turn a blind eye to her prospectiveness to equality. There are only a few leaders in Kenya who can expose themselves to the 'harsh' smoke of the traditional kitchen. Many of them prefer to employ someone to do the job.
The feedback shared on the image mainly reflected on her humility to perform basic house chores. This is a rare image as most leaders prefer white-collar tasks in society.
Our leaders should try to ensure equality in society by being part of projects that are mainly practiced by common people.
