GSU Officers Take Over Ruto's Sugoi Home After He was Declared President-Elect

The president elect Dr. William Ruto's win has taken a new twist following what has been spotted at his residence in Sugoi. According to reports reaching several media houses, the residence was guarded by officers from the Critical Installation Police Unit (CIPU) of the Administration Police. The AP officers have been withdrawn and replaced by more than a dozen red berets.

After GSU officers took charge of the residence, they started scanning every vehicle entering and exiting the home. Locals who had thronged the site to celebrate Dr. William Ruto’s win spent the night outside the gate as the tight security couldn't have allowed them to enter inside.

When Dr. William Ruto was the deputy, GSU officers that were used to guard his home residence were shifted to another place by the government something that sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans. However, things has started normalizing now.
