Today is the second day that Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance alliies are pitching camp in Nyeri County. Yesterday the team made trips to different parts of the county, they toured different constituencies such as: Mukurweini, Kieni, Mathira, Othaya and Nyeri Townwship.

On Sunday morning, DP Ruto and his political allies kicked off their routine by attending a church service at the PEFA Ngangarithi Church. Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga also joined the worshippers in the service and was given an opportunity to talk just like all the other politicians.

After the service, Ruto and his team embarked on interacting with people in rallies. He visited Karatina and in his rally, there were dramatic scenes as a suspect pickpocket was caught in the act.
Fortunately for him, the police came to his rescue before being subjected to the wrath of an angry mob.
