Deputy President William Ruto today led his Kenya Kwanza alliance brigade to Mombasa, Tononoka grounds where he is currently holding a mega rally as he hunts for more support ahead of August general elections.
However, the Tononoka rally is bad news for Kiambu gubernatorial candidate William Kabogo after his name was dropped by Kiharu Constitutiency member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro while he was naming people who come from Kiambu, but they do not support president Uhuru Kenyatta's Azimio La Umoja One Kenya faction.
While speaking, Nyoro said the Head of State's Member of County Assembly, Member of Parliament, Women Representative and Senator, and the 2017 elected governor Ferdinand Waititu do not support him.
"The MCA of Uhuru is not is in Kenya Kwanza, his Member of Parliament called Moses Kuria is a principal in Kenya Kwanza, his Women Representative know as Gathoni Wamuchomba is in Kenya Kwanza, his senator, Kimani Wamatangi in in Kenya Kwanza, former Governor Ferdinand Waititu is in Kenya Kwanza," Nyoro has said.
The lawmaker made a similar statement while in Kajiado County where he also mentioned Kabogo as a Kenya Kwanza principal, unlike today where he has omitted today.
