According to people's daily, the plans underway to have the constitutional amendment conducted are possible, as per constitutional oversight committee point of perception.
The team led by Member of parliament Hon. Kioni suggested that a plebscite could be undertaken concurrently with next year's general election.
The Building Bridges Initiative as a bill has been reviewed, though the Constitutional Implementation committee are still working on how to outline clear roles of the two deputy Presidents, the bill is seeking to bring onto reality.
"We have finalised the Bill on the expansion of the Executive but we must first address some grey area surrounding the creation of the two positions of deputy president. There are questions on which one of them will assume the role of the Head of State in absence of the president. The Bill needs to put clarity o the matter," said Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni, a member of the committee.
