Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto today chaired a meeting on Inter-governmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) in his capacity as the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya. Despite the fact that Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto had invited at least five Governors who were to attend the meeting but only one showed up.
Among those invited but missed the occasion are Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya and Finance Minister Hon Ukur Yatani. It has to be noted that the two Cabinet Secretaries have been in the opposing side as they don't see eye to eye with each other. The only Cabinet Secretary present was Devolution Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter who is also a die hard supporter of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto.
"Only nine governors, one Cabinet Secretary and two Principal secretaries turned up for the Inter-governmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) chaired by Deputy President William Ruto. https://bit.ly/3HJCKQT." Tweeted by
