After enjoying the word of God at AIC Naivasha for Sunday Service, ODM leader Raila Odinga made a stopover in Nyahururu later in the day where he addressed Kenyans.

Odinga was openly mesmerized by the huge crowd that turned up to listen to him remarking "sijawahi ona umati Mkubwa kama huu Nyahururu (I've never seen a big crowd like this in Nyahururu.)

Nyahururu is in Laikipia county, and it's considered part of the large Mount Kenya region. The ODM leader was accompanied by his entourage, and his biggest supporter from Mt Kenya Billionaire SK Macharia.

Odinga stormed the mountain a day after Deputy president William Ruto dismissed the ODM leader's charm offensives into the region, saying the former premier should know the mountain " has it's owners."

Politicians have been scrambling for the vote rich region ahead of the 2022 general election, after it became clear Mt Kenya will not produce a formidable presidential candidate in the upcoming election.
