There is growing tension in Kenya Kwanza Alliance government between president William Samoei Arap Ruto's allies and deputy president Rigathi Gachagua's allies. The issue escalated when Nyeri county Governor Mutahi Kahiga said that they are ready to quit the Kenya Kwanza Alliance because of how bad they are mistreated by President Ruto's close allies. DP Rigathi Gachagua himself called on all vote rich Mt Kenya region politicians to rally behind him as they eye 2027.
But president Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua have been publicly left exposed after the following revelation. According to K24 TV Kenya, City Lawyer Danstan Omari claimed that the two leaders are not fighting each other because of their political survival. He added that they are fighting over the resources of Kenyans.
"Danstan Omari: We are likely to see serious wars between the president and the deputy because what is at stake is not about their survival, it is our resources they are fighting for." Tweeted by K24 TV Kenya
