Raila's final Azimio la Umoja rally at Kasarani is still dominating public headlines with preparations currently in top gear.
Key dignitaries have been invited to the event that will see Raila speak on his 2022 Candidature.
According to some ODM insiders, the event will be a rehearsal of Raila's looming 2022 inauguration.
What has however caught the attention of many is whether President Uhuru will grace the occasion.
This is because he has been hinting at endorsing the former Prime Minister as his Preferred succesor ahead of next year's polls.
While speaking to the Star, state house spokesperson Kanze Dena Mararo has revealed that she has no comments at the moment on whether Uhuru will grace the occasion.
However, Uhuru is this week expected to visit Tanzania for a National celebration and it is has not been established whether he will be in the country in time to grace Raila's big event.
Interesting however, all the opposition bigwigs and key leaders in the country have been invited to the event except DP Ruto.
While speaking on why Ruto had not been invited to the event, an ODM insider has revealed to the Star that Ruto is currently their opponent and cannot invite him to the event.
Raila and Ruto are already perceived as the front runners in the 2022 race with Raila yet to declare his presidential bid.
