Members of the senate have already begun deliberating on the bbi report but there are complaints that some members of the senate have not read the report since it was given to them in soft copy. This may therefore limit their contribution in the debate since there is the need to read understand and highlight the document which may not be possible if the document is in soft copy.
The members of the senate are also complaining about the voluminous nature of the bbi report and are asking to be given time so that they can read the document first so that they understand it and make meaningful contributions later on.
Senator James Orengo however, disagree with the others about the volume of the document as he agues that, the minutes they took in the committee meeting are the only thing making the document look voluminous. Speaker of the senate following the request of the members has therefore decided to adjourn the sitting until afternoon.
