With by _ Elections in different wards and Constituency in a few days, Kikuyu Member Of Parliament has given worrying details of what the Rift Valley regional Commissioner told Electoral officers in a meeting held earlier today. Members allied to the UDA Party have cried foul and claimed there are plans to rig the expected by_elections by the government. Some of the have said the government is trying to intimate their candidates so as to capture those different seats. According to the Tangatanga Leaders, the use of force and threats by the government to scare and intimidate the Electoral officers is against the wishes of the Citizens in the respective areas where these Elections are going to be held.
"Natetmbeya had even tried to intimidate a retuning officer for Hellsgate ward in Naivasha summoning him to a meeting at the hotel chest thumping ati, ' sisi ndio serikali" let the people vote peacefully and democratically," reveals Ichungw'a.
The leaders allied to the Deputy President William Ruto are determined and focused to take another seat after the candidate allied to thei Political inclination captured the Msambweni Constituency By-election. However, these leaders have claimed that the government is not ready to undergo another humiliating defeat and have resulted to using force and intimidatations.
