Six media houses have convened a special interview with the head of state President William Ruto.
The head of state in his address to the nation said that he has laid the necessary strategies to ensure that the state of the economy improves for the ordinary citizens.
President William Ruto has said that he has stopped laying blame on the administration of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta since he has done enough of it.
He said that what he wants is just to be accountable for everything that he does.
President Ruto revealed that this is the main reason that he advised the members of parliament to change the standing orders of the house in order to allow the cabinet secretaries in his government to be answering summons from the parliament.
This is to ensure that they remain on toes in service to the people of Kenya and to ensure that they remain accountable in this offices.
Ruto has highlighted his biggest achievement since he took over powers.
He said that he was able to higher thirty five thousand teachers, an achievement that no Kenyan President Ever made.
The president said that in the next financial year, thirty thousand more teachers will be hired to completely curb teachers shortage in junior secondary schools.
