ODM Top Official Addresses the Allegations that the Party Used School Buses to Ferry Crowds to Nyeri

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has gone public to address the allegations that the party used school buses to ferry crowds to Nyeri county to attend the Azimio la Umoja convention.

Etale says he was in Nyeri county for the two days the former prime minister Raila Odinga was in the area and the party did not ferry crowds from Nyanza region as the political opponents claim.

Etale says that he only spotted three buses that transported the Luo Council of Elders to meet their Kikuyu counterparts at Kabiruini grounds adding that the buses left the area immediately after the event.

"I was in Nyeri during the two day tour of the region by Raila Odinga. I only spotted three buses that transported elders from the Luo Council of Elders for the event at the historic Kabiruini grounds with their Gikuyu counterparts," Etale tweeted.

His statement comes a day after the Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi warned the politicians against using the school buses to ferry crowds to attend their political rallies.
