The Honorable William Ruto, the head of state, is anticipated to reshuffle the National Social Security Fund's top management (NSSF).
This occurs as the term of NSSF Chief Executive Officer Anthony Omerikwa, who has held the position for the entirety of his tenure, comes to a conclusion.
Sources claim that in order to restructure the NSSF's structure, His Excellency the Head of State president Ruto is keen on altering the agency's leadership.
Ruto claims that the Ksh200 monthly payment is too little for a nation that values saving, and wants to boost monthly NSSF donations tenfold.
The National Social Security Fund's temporary CEO has been named as David Mwangangi.
The expected day of Mwangangi's inauguration is Tuesday, November 22.
In 2015, Omerikwa was named acting CEO. He served in that capacity for four years before being named CEO/managing trustee of the NSSF in 2019 by His Excellency, the former Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.
