The outspoken lawmaker who has on several occasions expressed his reservations about the BBI report could now be softening his heart.
Sudi has now said that they were not against BBI but changing the constitution at this particular time is not a priority adding that if it passes or fails is non of their business.
"There is no day we stood and said that we oppose the Constitution, we said that this constitution is not a priority now because the economy has been affected, covid-19 has been here.....I want to tell Kenyan we are not against BBI but it's not the right time.
Kenyans are suffering, many children are at home, people are not able to buy food....We want to tell them whether BBI passes or fails is non of our focus, our focus is 2022," said Sudi.
