As we head to the general election which is now about 30 day to go, Mt Kenya Member of parliament from Nyeri County honorable Wambugu Ngunjiri has questions what IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati means by not stopping those who are found to have lied and have been cleared by the commission.
"Let me understand what Chebukati is saying. Now that I’ve been cleared to run as MP, even if I was to be found to have lied somewhere along the way; once I am cleared I can’t be stopped from running - coz I am already cleared? Really?" Wambugu Ngunjiri said.
For instant, there have been claims that Johnson Sakaja forged his Degree certificate to be cleared by the Commission to vie for Governorship in Nairobi County
However, Chebukati on his latest statement said that they will not stopped Johnson Sakaja from vying giving him a greenlight to get ready for the contest in August 9, 2022.
Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
