Current Relationship Between Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta Revealed as Coalition Wars Emerge

Uhuru Kenyatta, the current President of Kenya, serves as the chairman of the Azimio coalition, which includes Jubilee, Azimio Narc-K, and Wiper, amongst other parties. Raila Odinga currently holds the position of the organization's official presidential flag bearer.

Recent rumors have it that the alliance is close to dissolving, with Kenyans facing divisions inside Azimio. This would be consistent with recent events.

Following President Ruto's decisive victory over Raila in the general elections, a number of Raila's allies switched allegiances, with the vast majority joining Ruto's Kenya Kwanza party. The majority of those polled felt that because Ruto is the current head of state, they are obligated to collaborate for the sake of their constituents.

In addition, leaders from the Jubilee party have just lately severed ties with the organization that was run by Kanini Kega, who voiced accusations of treason during the EALA ballot.

As a result of the recent events, the vast majority of Kenyans have been predicting that the coalition will soon come to an end; however, Vihiga senator Godfrey Osotsi has dispelled these reports.

Osotsi has disclosed that the coalition is still functioning normally, and President Ruto and Raila are, if anything, becoming closer to one another.

"Ex-President Uhuru Kenyatta, the leader of my party, Raila Odinga, as well as Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Gideon Moi, have not yet lodged a complaint. "As a team, we are more bonded than ever before, and we are only going to continue to improve," Osotsi added.
