"I'm Not In The Government" Raila Response On Claims He Was Among Who Sold Kenyan Port To Dubai

Yesterday, the leader of the ANC party, Musalia Mudavadi, made allegations that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga were involved in the sale of three Kenyan ports to a business from Dubai.Musalia went on to assert that the agreement was signed by Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani and that it was sold in secret during Raila's birthday celebration in Mombasa.

On the other hand, Raila Odinga has responded to allegations that he was engaged in the sale of Kenyan ports by attacking the camp of DP Ruto.

Raila has stated, through his spokeswoman Makau Mutua, that he does not hold a position in the government that allows him to do business on the government's behalf.

"In reference to this matter, Raila and I have had a conversation about it. This allegation has been thoroughly dismissed by him, treating it with the contempt it deserves, and there is no reason for us to believe otherwise "According to Mutua.

"This newest attempt, like many others that came before it, is uncalled for and unbecoming of a side that is trying to shore up their decreasing numbers by using anything and everything they can get their hands on.

This most recent effort, just like the countless ones that came before it, "Mutua added.

This comes as a response following the claims that some Kenya Kwanza Team Allied complains and says that Raila was involved in selling of Kenya's port to Dubai. This comes as a response comes as a result of the claims.
