Pius Kinuthia is undoubtedly one of the ardent supporters of Azimio La Umoja Movement presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga that hail from Murang'a County. The youthful politician declared his bid for the County's senatorial seat a couple of months and announced that he would use an ODM ticket. Today, Kinuthia has been issued with a nomination certificate by the Party.

Pius who is a career pharmacist has this evening taken to his Twitter page and displayed a photo of his certificate. He was visibly happy. Following this, Azimio now has two candidates in Murang'a who are seeking the senatorial seat.

Kembi Gitura will fly the Jubilee Party flag in the race to succeed Senator Irungu Kang'ata who is interested in becoming the next County Boss.
For Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance Party, Joe Nyutu will represent the political fold. He too was also awarded with a certificate today at UDA's Headquarters in Nairobi County.
