Popular Lawyer Reveals Two Mistakes Uhuru is Making on 2022 Succession Politics

As the 2022 succession politics continues to gain momentum, various leaders who wish to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta have been busy reorganizing themselves ahead of the bruising 2022 presidential elections. Some of them have been forming alliances and forging coalitions to strengthen their political bases too. Among the noticeable presidential hopefuls include Raila Odinga, William Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi.

And now well known lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has revealed two miscalculated mistakes, that President Uhuru Kenyatta is making on the 2022 succession politics.

According to the lawyer, Uhuru Kenyatta and his close confidants are over-rating Uhuru's reach, power and influence.

The lawyer added that another mistake Uhuru is making, is he and his advisors are despising the power, reach and influence Dp Ruto and Raila Odinga have, as far as Kenyan politics are concerned.

Ahmednassir's remarks comes a time when the reports Ruto-Raila formation is on the offing, continues to cause jitters in the President's camp.

Uhuru's side is said to be worried about a possible union between Raila and Ruto, might jeorpadize the BBI process.

If Raila and Ruto forms a coalition, it means it will fight off the One Kenya Alliance, pitting Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya and Gideon Moi of Kanu. It has also been reported that the One Kenya Alliance has the support of Uhuru Kenyatta.
