The race for the 2022 Presidential election has already commenced with the likes of Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, William Ruto, And Gideon Moi all expressing their interest in taking over from President Kenyatta when his term comes to an end in 2022.
There have been lots of speculations and rumors about the possibility of new political formations to try to clinch the presidency.
It has now emerged that there is a plan that is underway to form a team that will be supported by an 11 man team led by a former Chief Justice, Party leaders, and presidential aspirants.
The team will be called the National Redemption Council and the members will only serve for one term.
The team is reportedly planning to field a Mudavadi - Karua candidacy in 2022. According to the report by a local daily, the team plans to borrow from the famous pentagon in 2007.
