Many Kenyans are eagerly waiting for this day, when they will be celebrating Kenyan heroes, this is a day to remember our Kenyan heroes who fought for the freedom that we are enjoying now. This year's celebrations will be done in kirinyaga county, where the president is expected to address to the country. Kenyans Expect the following in president Uhuru Kenyatta's speech:
1. Uhuru's political stand in 2022.
Kenya's general election is supposed to take place in the year 2022, president Uhuru is supposed to be retiring by then, Kenyans would like to know Uhuru's stand when it comes to who will he support in the next general elections.
2. Increase of petrol prices.
Kenyans Expect president Uhuru Kenyatta to say something about price increase of the petrol in Kenya. Many Kenyans have cried when the prices increased,if you want to buy one litre of petrol now,you should prepare yourself with 134.72 shillings, when fuel rises almost everything rises.
3. Ruling on maritime border.
The president is expected to say something about the ruling that was done at the UN top court between Kenya and Somalia over the maritime border. The ruling was done but it largely favoured Somali. Though Kenyans rejected but they still expect Uhuru Kenyatta to talk about it and give way forward during his speech at the "mashujaa" day in kirinyaga county.
