Havi Advises President Uhuru Kenyatta To Dump Raila And Concentrate On His Big 4 & Other Projects

ODM Party leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta in a past private meeting.

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi, has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to dump the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga, who looks to interrupt him in delivering his promises to Kenyans as he had promised.

Speaking on an interview with Citizen Television, Havi argued that the president is currently the one who is in charge of everything in government and he should not allow someone from outside, to interrupt him on his process of delivering his manifestos to Kenyans with other projects like amending the constitution.

According to him, amendment of the constitution is currently not a priority and the president should not dwell on it so much trying to make appeals in court, over the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report which seeks to amend the 2010 constitution. Which is spearheaded by ODM leader Raila Odinga who is possibly seeking for more political positions.

He added that the President should not forget the projects such as the big four agendas which are his visionary development projects, and other priority projects such as vaccination of all Kenyans against the Covid-19 disease. Therefore, the President should avoid politics and serve Kenyans because Raila Odinga will have another opportunity in 2022 to try his luck again for the top seat.

"I urge the President to avoid politics with Raila Odinga and concentrate on serving Kenyans. Raila should not interrupt him in the process of delivering his promises to Kenyans. Let him prioritise the big four agendas and other projects incluiding vaccinating Kenyans against Covid-19 health pandemic. Let him avoid these people who are pushing for the amendment of the constitution through an illegal process which has already been challenged in court. They will have enough time to try their luck again in 2022 and see whether they will make it." He said.
