President William Ruto Makes First Inspection of Mega Project Initiated by Uhuru Kenyatta in Nairobi

Ruto has already arrived in Mukuru kwa Njenga's informal neighborhood, where he will likely oversee the housing initiative that former president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta started a few years ago.

After promising residents of Homa bay that such a project would be launched in the region in the upcoming years, this is Ruto's first significant project since taking office a few weeks ago. It is anticipated that it will rank among the top initiatives that have grown to be dear to him.

More than 2,000 families who are now living in the unofficial section of mukuru kujenga are likely to be housed by the project, which is expected to cost the taxpayers billions of shillings.

Ruto And his team of Cabinet secretaries have been scheduled to launch such projects in the Coming years to ensure that Kenyans who live below $1 a day have a means of fending for themselves as they begin a new life under William ruto's administration.
