Mixed reactions have ensued after Jubilee Deputy Secretary-General Hon Joshua Kutuny asked Kenyans to take the Covid-19 third wave seriously since Kenya can't be compared with Western nations.
In his post after taking the Covid-19 vaccination jab, Cherangany Member of Parliament, he said that Kenya can't do much about the disease since it's is a Third World Country. Therefore, he urged everyone to observe the World Health Organisation protocols to remain safe throughout the pandemic period.
While complementing on the precautions about the Covid-19, Kenyans have however reacted about Hon Kutuny's statement matters Kenya as a third world country.
Fan disputed that Kenya is no longer a Third World Country in terms of economic indicators, but only politically as shown in the screenshot below.
Kenyans added that despite claims that the Covid-19 vaccines have been suspected to have some side effects, they stressed that much is not about being vaccinated but to always sanitize and wear mask.
