Wiper Deputy Party leader, Farah Maalim, today revealed the net worth of his party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka. Maalim who is a former National Assembly Deputy Speaker stated that the former Vice President is a poor man.In an interview today on a local TV station, he claimed that the Wiper leader does not have more than Ksh 5 million in his accounts and could not measure up with other presidential hopefuls in terms of wealth.
However, in 2013 when he ran as Raila Odinga’s Running Mate, Kalonzo Musyoka declared his net worth to be around Ksh 50 million which was then unrealistic. This is because the Wiper Democratic Movement leader owns about 600 acres of land around different parts of the country, including the controversial 200 acres Yatta land in Machakos County, which has been in question as it originally belonged to the National Youth Service. The 200-acre parcel has been used to politically cut him down to size every election cycle. Months to the next general election. He also owns apartments in Nairobi and a Chopper estimated at Sh 800 million.
He has a Law firm founded in April 1989, known as Musyoka & Wambua Advocates at Rehani House on Nairobi’s Kenyatta Avenue, which makes millions a month. Kalonzo also has other International investments.
