Congo's Opposition Presidential Candidate Succumbs To Covid-19

The Democratic Republic of Congo is mourning the sudden death of an opposition presidential candidate the late Brice Parfait.

According to the source revealed that the late Brice Parfait died today while he was being transferred to France for further treatment. Source revealed that he allegedly succumbed to coronavirus complications.

Reports indicated that he passed on just a day after the country held the general presidential election. His death was so sudden that left much Congolese talking. He died at the age of 61 years.

His death comes days after the neighboring country Tanzania mourns the death of their president the late John Pombe Magufuli who succumbed to heart complications.

In Kenya, the deadly virus has taken away prominent church leaders and politicians. Ministry of public health called upon citizens to take precautions and follow guidelines issued out to reduce the spread of the virus. May his soul rest in peace.
