The Orange Democratic Movement Party (ODM) led by former prime minister Hon Raila Amolo Odinga has been consistently been suffering. Many leaders have ditched the party to Kenya Kwanza alliance led by president William Ruto since the announcement of presidential results of August 2022 general elections.
Approximately one month ago, Hon Babu Owino had met the Narok County’s senator Ledama Ole Kina for party issues concerning ODM Party. Hon Babu Owino has been firm on Azimio despite the political wave migration that had striked the party majorly.
On Sunday 23rd, Babu has expressed his remarks regarding the appointment as the secretary for ODM party. He wondered how can he be allocated a position in his absence without any consultation. He allege that he had earlier on expressed his interest as Public Accounts Committee and that is what he wanted. He said that he does not understand was they were proposing for him in his absence.
Babu Owino tweeted, “Can you be given a position in your absence? I already expressed my interest as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman. That is what I wanted. I do not know whatever they are proposing to give me. I don’t Know what is there to be invented in ODM.”
