For a start of his second day of his tour to Kisii county today on the Monday of October 4th, Deputy President William Ruto camped at Bogichoncho primary school In South Mugirango Constituency to preside over an infrastructure development fundraiser for Bogichoncho and Nyakembene Secondary Schools as well as popularize his UDA party and sell his 2022 presidential bid.
The DP who was being hosted by the South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro and Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi had a lively moment at the school as he interacted with South Mugirango residents and listened to their demands for them to support him.
Then when his time to address the public came, he announced the goodies that he had carried for the people of South Mugirango before touching on the current political affairs in the county.
The goodies that he had carried were five hundred thousand shillings to Bogichoncho primary school for construction of a classroom and a promise of five hundred shillings to Nyakembene Secondary Schools for clearance of a school bus' debt.
Then on the current political affairs, he urged South Mugirango residents to join his UDA party which is the "future".
That they were in Jubilee party but it got involved in an accident and they had to leave it for a better vehicle but the wreckage that's remaining is about to be sold to ODM.
"All of us were in the Jubilee party lakini Jubilee ilipata ajali ikawa wreckage. Ile salvage wanakusanya wanataka kuuzia ODM, so join is in UDA," he said sparking laughter.
