The former premier Raila Odinga has made it clear that he has not started his campaigns ahead of the 2022 general election. According to him he must not be mistaken as he is only listening to the views and issues affecting the people.
It's the same answer that was given by the deputy president William Ruto who made it clear that his meet the people tours was part and parcel of public participation. According to Odinga he is also doing public participation to understand of the many issues that affect Kenyans day today lives.
In a statement to newsrooms, Odinga made it clear his rallies across the country were also meant to preach unity among Kenyans from all walks of life to abide to much divisions during the next general election.
Odinga is clear he is a law abiding citizen and the time for official campaigns has not yet started. He is clear of his agenda to only understand of the issues affecting the people clearly demonstrating he is not campaigning just like Ruto said yesterday.
