Former Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero, who contested for Homabay County Gubernatorial seat in last year's general elections and lost to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party candidate Gladys Wanga, has broken his silence on yesterday's High Court ruling in which dismissed his petition against the victory of Governor Gladys Wanga. He has called for peace and calm in Homabay arguing that he is not going to hold demonstrations or fail to recognize Wanga as the governor of Homabay County.
Speaking during an interview with K24 television today morning show dubbed New Dawn, Kidero said that he will announce the next cause of action to take after digesting the import of yesterday's ruling. But he is not going to organise demonstrations or fail to recognize the governorship of Governor Gladys Wanga. He is going to take the right cause of action about the ruling that Wanga won the election in a free and fair way, not demonstrations or terming Wanga's governorship as fake.
