After the former prime minister Raila Odinga held consultative meeting and political rallies in rift valley region, he also proceeded to Nairobi where he attended another high-profile meeting with the Hekima Kaka society. In the event Raila was accompanied by his beloved wife Mama Idah, vocal leaders including Hon Oparanya, Junnet Muhammed and foreigners from Nigeria, Cameroon among other nations. Raila was being honoured for emerging as the father of democracy and his longtime efforts to serve and sacrifice for Kenya. In his address, Odinga thanked his wife for supporting him throughout his political journey. He also wowed the Hekima society for identifying him. According to him, He also recognised the other African leaders who fought for the freedom of their diehards. He revealed how Mandela, Jomo Kenyatta, Julius Nyerere among others suffered in the chains of the colonial regime. He added that Africa is still under the colonialism of poor leadership.
