President William Ruto is in few hours time expected to land in Bomet Green stadium , the host leaders are up and down winding up plans to ensure that the function ends up well.
A number of leaders are expected to attend the event. All Bomet county elected leaders have confirmed attendance in a meeting held last evening at the governor's office.
Chepalungu MP Victor Koech, Richard Kilel, Brighton Yegon , Linet Toto, nominated senator Joyce Korir, Sigei of Sotik and Richard Yegon, Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot who is expected to MC the event.
Labour CS Florence Bore , CCM party leader Isaac Ruto, Hillary Barchok have also confirmed attendance. Transport CS and Bomet based energy CS Davis Chirchir will not attend as they are out of the country on official duty, locals were ecstatic about Murkomen visiting and affirming the Bomet SGR project that caused uproar months ago.
Even so the barbed wire fence that has been erected across the field has continued to cause mixed reactions with many disapproving the same.
