Kenyans on twitter had waited to see how the vocalist in exile lawyer Miguna Miguna would respond to the Deputy president leaked clip of him daring to slap president Uhuru Kenyatta.
This happened immediately after the cancellation of the presidential elections by the former chief justice David Maraga. Maraga declared the election as null and void.
"It is actually a criminal offence to tape or audio or video record anyone without their consent. That's the law. Therefore, those who surreptitiously recorded the deputy president Dr William Ruto voice broke the law. We cannot build a country governed by the rule of law if we tolerate illegal acts", twitted the vocalist lawyer Miguna Miguna.
This was opposite of what was expected as many expected that he will congratulate the deputy president Dr William Ruto actions but rather he stood on a neutral ground that he didn't favor either president Uhuru Kenyatta or his deputy in the leaked tape.
