The 2022 general elections are around the corner with numerous people and prominent leaders unleasing their interest in various posts.
In her statement, she said "I will run for Governor in Homa Bay. Some Governors who were not re-elected have been free people, however certain former governors who have matters in court should be worried about being re-elected."
It is very clear that Madam Wanga is more than ready to put a spirited fight coming 2022 elections. She has however, warned opponents especially those who have pending court matters to keep worried about being re-elected.
The current Homabay Governor Hon Awiti will have to battle it out with the unstoppable women rep Gladys. Awiti was re-elected as the governor of the Homabay county but he had faced turmoil of being sent home. It is fortunate that the court saved him. As for, Gladys it might be a free ticket here.
