Barely a month ago, they were trolling International Monetary Fund and the president for negotiating on loaning the country while there was an existing debt.
Today, they have told the president that he should keep the main agenda when he meets with the president of United States of America.
US president Joe Biden has invited the Kenyan president to a virtual meeting with the focus being climate and it's impact to economy.
Uhuru, alongside other 39 leaders will attend the meeting virtually, scheduled for April 22 and 23.
Some Kenyans have joked that the president might decide to attend the meeting physically.
Currently, president Kenyatta is Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Below are comments by Kenyans on Uhuru meeting with Biden.
Chris Wafula: I am sure he is preparing a speech on the kind of loan that should be advanced to us.
Patrick Kinyua: Is Joe aware there are five counties under lockdown?
Jobs Much: And we aren't happy about it. Uhuru shouldn't carry his hands to sign for loans anyhow anywhere. Biden should know we are already worried.
John Anyande: He is marking Joe for an opportunity to borrow another loan.
Alex Komen: Kenyans let's do it again 'Stop inviting Uhuru Kenyatta'.
Son of Africa: He is invited not because he is honoured but because he has done a lot destroying economy.
Hussein Dufu: While Biden is busy trying to improve American economy his Kenyan counterpart is busy signing loans.
