The vocal member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri was today in Nakuru county where he joined leaders allied to the deputy president William Ruto in campaigning for their UDA party candidate member of county assembly for London ward.
The Mp was joined by Nakuru senator Susan Kihika and a host of leaders who came out in numbers to ensure that the residents voted for their candidate. In his address, Ngunjiri noted that their candidate was the best placed candidate to win the seat.
He went on to say that Nakuru county was going to surprise many people because this was his backyard and was not going to allow any embarrassment by losing in such an important seat. He nevertheless urged the locals to turn up in numbers to vote for the party's best candidate.
He also asked Kenyans all over the country to force their MCAs who passed the BBI bill to share the bribe they received so that they supported the bill. He said that on top of them getting a two million shillings car grant, he alleged that they were also given one hundred thousand shillings just to pass the bill in the county assemblies. The Mp noted that it was not right at all.
