The political temperature in our country has been on the rise as we approach 2022. Politicians have been forming new alliances and parties as part of the preparation for the electioneering year. Regions too are in hurry to come up with a suitable leader who will represent their views.
A few months ago, the council of elders from the Rift Valley coronated Baringo Senator honorable Gideon Moi to be their leader. A month after Moi's coronated Musalia Mudavadi was also endorsed as Luhya leaders. These are part of preparations for the regions as we approach 2022.
As stated by Africa Nation" Tharaka Nithi assembly endorses installation of Speaker Muturi as Mt Kenya region Kingpin"
President Uhuru Kenyatta has been the region Kingpin, he has not endorsed anyone so far. Stiff competition is expected from the region as we head the electioneering year.
