Since Wiliam Samoei Ruto took over the office from Uhuru Kenyatta, several changes has been felt from different sectors in the government. This is seen through the start up of appointments of CSs, and other Government Officials to work with the elected president.
Additionally, president Ruto recently fires back on the four IEBC Commissioners (Cherera 4)who had gone against the final results of the election, and the will of people which stirred many Kenyans as well as the opposition therefore receiving alot of criticisms on how he has acted on them, and also his way of ruling just for the few months in office.
This incident on Cherera 4 created a room for the opposition, Azimio, who therefore threaten to organize a protests over the alleged act of removal of the 4 IEBC Commissioners, stating that it was a way of creating a room for stealing the 2027 election. This move by Azimio made the president to react asking them to stop lying yet the lose the elections even with the system on their side.
"Even with the system/deep state you lost the election. Stop deluding yourself and lying. The coup to overturn the people's will using rogue Commissioners, you are now threatening us with masndamano about, failed. Their guilt or innocence will be determined by tribunal. Rule of law it is." He claims.
