Kenyans Respond To Ruto Following His Defence On Leaked Audio Tape

Kenyans on social media have attacked deputy president William Ruto following his response on the trending audio tape about slapping Uhuru Kenyatta.

The DP, in what appears as a defence, said that he couldn't let Uhuru give up on the presidency because he had worked a lot during the campaigns.

"Ati mnarecord William Ruto alimskuma President Uhuru namna gani, kwani mlitaka President Uhuru awache kiti ambayo sisi tuliamka saa kumi asubuhi kumchagua ili Uhuru awe Rais?

Awache kiti tulikuwa tumemtafutia, awachie mtu wa kitendawili? Atakama nilimlazimisha awe Rais, iko makosa? fired back Ruto.

Kenyans are now saying that Uhuru had done his work to be president and Ruto just offered little support.

They are also bitter that under Uhuru's government the cost of living in Kenya has gone better. Had Ruto not pushed him then maybe life could be better.

Here are some of the comments.

@Nekesa Hiyo ni uongo. If it was Genuine Victory, I'm 100% sure, Uhuru couldn't be forced to stand for it. In other words, President Uhuru new it wasn't his win and didn't want to force himself to it.

@Kemei So you pushed Uhuru to be president so that he could make our lives miserable. Now you say it's your turn to make it more miserable.

@Moki I hate the arrogance and pride in this man...he is so bitter with everyone and everything..a dangerous character for a president!but you will still choose him anyway and we will all face the wrath ..trust me if this man wins !we will regret.
