Martha Karua, a former running mate for the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition and the leader of the Narc Kenya Party, has expressed opposition to President William Ruto's plan to reinstate BBI by designating an official opposition leader.Karua answered with a two-word reply to Eric Theuri's article, which stated that all Kenyans should oppose and denounce Ruto's move.

Theuri had also mentioned that President William Ruto was engaged in a spectacular race to trample the Constitution before the ink on the oath he took to defend it dried.
It is clear from the evidence that Karua opposes Ruto's attempt to rewrite the Constitution, which is geared toward adding more members to parliament by enforcing a gender rule, among other measures.
Furthermore, it is asserted that Ruto is pressuring Kenya Kwanza lawmakers to approve the legislation in parliament, despite opposition from some of Azimio la Umoja's allies. Uhuru Kenyatta, a former president, is about to step down as Azimio chairman in order to devote all of his attention to his duty as a peace envoyer.
