Karua Comes Clean & Reveals What The Azimio Government Will Do To Dp Ruto After The Polls

Deputy President William Ruto has been promised his safety by running partner Martha Karua of the Azimio ticket if Raila Odinga is elected president. Ms. Karua, in speeches yesterday to rallies in Nakuru and Narok counties, promised that Dr. Ruto would be regarded like a brother and a Kenyan. “We tell our competitors that we shall safeguard them. Our children are also Kenyans. But don’t elect the young man (Ruto) who is full of wrath and bile,” she warned Tipis.

The head of Narc Kenya claimed that the DP should not be given presidential powers because he is likely to use them for vengeance. There have been rumors that, should he become president, Ruto intends to investigate Uhuru Kenyatta. Ms. Karua described the previous prime minister, Mr. Odinga, as "cool and composed," and she urged the DP to step aside and let him lead the country. If you're willing to slap the president of Kenya, what are you capable of doing to a regular citizen? If you're becoming angry, just give in. You will be taken into consideration at the time God has set. Kenya cannot be led with hate and anger,” she stated.

She went on to say that Dr. Ruto cannot succeed President Kenyatta because of their disagreement. “If you can’t handle the responsibility of a deputy, then you can’t become a president. I will not start publicly criticizing him (Raila) even if we do win. We'll work out our differences here at the office," she declared. She urged people to vote against candidates who try to buy their votes with bribes, arguing that this practice breeds corruption and incompetence. “Such leaders if elected will never be present at the moment of your need. Don’t focus on their wealth. Focus on what belongs to you, that which you have entrusted with the government,” she urged. Ms. Karua is committed to combating corruption in government.

If a petty thief is caught, he or she will be lynched. When those plundering our public funds are detected, they become immediate heroes. It's a shame that this has happened. I will diligently combat them,” she stated. Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui advised residents residing on the Nakuru-Narok border to preserve calm. “Peace is the most important thing. There are ongoing land issues here that cause friction but we have confidence that Azimio would prioritize them in the future government,” said Mr. Kinyanjui. The senator from Narok, Ledama ole Kina, is optimistic that Mr. Odinga's leadership will help the country realize its economic potential.

Sabina Chege, a representative from Murang'a, has declared that the Azimio people are the most qualified to run the country. Look at the leaders of Azimio, and you'll find that they aren't out for themselves.
