The ruthless death has this Tuesday evening claimed the life of another top leader, plunging the Ford Kenya Party fraternity into deep mourning.
Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has mourned the sudden passing away of Ford Kenya party Nyeri branch chair & NEC member, George Mwangi.
Wetangula took to social media and broke the news of the passing away of Mr Mwangi.
He eulogized George Mwangi as a dedicated and loyal member of the Ford Kenya party.
He also revealed that the deceased leader stood with him during the recent Ford Kenya party issues, particularly when Wetangula started fighting with Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi over the party's leadership.
"The cruel hand of death has again struck our Ford Kenya fraternity. Our long-serving, dedicated and loyal Nyeri branch chair & NEC member George Mwangi has left us. He has stood by me & the party leadership in every situation. Our prayers for his family," Wetangula tweeted.
However, Wetangula did not reveal what caused his sudden death.
His death comes at the same time the country is recording endless deaths of leaders, most of them succumbing to COVID-19.
